Normally, our MOQ for bulk ceramic mug orders is 1000–10000 pieces. It really depends on the design, size, color, and shape you need. If you just want to print a logo on our existing mug styles, we can lower the MOQ. Can the sample fee be refunded later? Yep! Once your bulk order hits around $5,000, we’ll deduct the sample cost from your final invoice. Will my designs and logo be protected? Absolutely! We’ll sign a legally binding NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) and promise that the mold is for your exclusive use — we’ll never share or reuse your designs. Can you provide free 3D mockups? Sure thing! Send us your idea or logo, and we’ll create a 3D preview for you within 24 hours. 2. Production & Quality How do you control quality for large bulk orders? We use a Triple QC System to make sure the quality is consistent for big bulk orders: Check after the first firing Check again after glazing Final check before packing We fire the mugs at 1150–1200°C to make sure they’re durable and consistent in quality. Are your ceramic mugs food-safe? Yes! All our mugs are lead-free and cadmium-free, and they’ve been tested by SGS. They meet FDA, LFGB, and EU food-contact standards, and we can provide test reports for each batch. Please note that the test report requires extra fees. Are underglaze ceramic mugs suitable for hotels and restaurants? Totally! The underglaze colors are sealed under the glaze, which means: No fading Safe and non-toxic Dishwasher-resistant They’re perfect for heavy use in hotels and restaurants. Can you produce mugs with special functions? Definitely! We can make mugs with special functions like microwave-safe, dishwasher-safe, oven-safe, heat-resistant, and more. What is your normal lead time? Usually, the lead time is 30–45 days. For urgent bulk orders, we can sometimes finish it in around 25 days if we adjust the production schedule. 3. Packaging, Shipping & After-sales How do you pack ceramic mugs to avoid breakage? We use thick 5-layer cartons, custom foam trays, and strong pallets. We also do drop-tests to make sure the breakage rate is under 1%. What happens if mugs arrive broken? We offer 100% damage compensation — but only if you use our recommended packing. Just send us photos within 72 hours, and we’ll either refund you or resend the broken ones in your next order. Do you support DDP door-to-door shipping? Yes! We offer DDP door-to-door shipping to places like the US, Europe, Southeast Asia, and more. We’ll handle customs clearance and taxes — you just need to receive the goods. Step 1: Raw Material Preparation Ceramic production begins with the careful selection and mixing of raw materials such as kaolin, feldspar, and quartz. These ingredients are ground and blended into a uniform clay body that has the right plasticity and stability for shaping. Step 2: Molding / Shaping here are several shaping techniques used depending on the type of item:Press Molding (for plates, mugs and cups)Jiggering (for bowls)Slip Casting (for complex shapes )Each method ensures consistency in size and structure Step 3: Drying After shaping, the clay items are left to dry naturally or in controlled drying chambers. This step removes excess moisture and prevents cracking during firing.  At this stage, the product is referred to as a "green body." Step 4: First Firing (Bisque Firing) The dried pieces are fired in a kiln at 800–1000°C. This process hardens the ceramic body, allowing it to handle glazing and decoration. Step 5: Glazing A thin layer of glaze is applied to the bisque-fired item to give it a smooth, glass-like surface. Glazing can be done by dipping, spraying, or brushing. Glaze not only gives color and shine but also provides a waterproof and food-safe surface. Step 6: Second Firing (Glost Firing) The glazed ware is fired again at 1100–1350°C, depending on the type of ceramic (stoneware or porcelain). This strengthens the body and fixes the glaze.
